Seems like, singing sensation, Lady Gaga did not set the right foot forward while planning her tour of Asia. After having faced issues in Seoul and Indonesia, the diva is now having a hard time trying to perform in Philippines. Reportedly, there have been numerous protests by Christian youth in the country to put a stop to her shows, which they feel are too vulgar.
A group of nearly 70 youth protested against the performance of the pop diva in front of the Pasay City Hall in the metropolitan city of Manila. They said that the music and songs of Lady Gaga were offensive and were particularly sore about the song “Judas”, which they felt insults Jesus Christ, Himself. This has led to uncertainty about whether or not the singer will be allowed to perform in the country.
Meanwhile, Antonino Calixto, the Mayor of Pasay City has instructed the concert organizers to ensure that they follow all the rules as specified in the concert permit and abstain from exhibiting any nudity or lewd conduct during the show. However, no details were provided on whether or not Lady Gaga would be allowed to perform the song” Judas”.
